1.
What should I bring with me?
Sunscreen, toiletries (tooth brush, soap, shampoo, etc.), a hat, and a
change of clothes. We try and make sure that everything else is provided.
2. What everyday things are provided?
We provide all linens bedding and towels. The kitchen is fully accessorized
with every thing you should need including, silverware, dishes, coffee
maker, refrigerator, oven, microwave, ice maker, washer/dryer, etc. A
Texas sized BBQ/smoker is
provided as well.
3. How far is the house from the airport?
The house is approximately 45 miles from the airport (IAH). Drive
time is anywhere from 45 minutes to one hour depending on traffic and how
fast you drive.
4. How do I find the house? ( Click

We will email you a map with directions to the house and how to get the
key after you have booked.
5. How
many bedrooms and what are the bed sizes?
We have five bedrooms, two with full bathrooms. They are as follows:
'Terry's Texas Rangers Room', king bed. (Master Suite)
'Texas Independence Room', king bed.
'Captain Browns Flag Room', king bed. (Master Suite)
'The Alamo Room', two queen beds.
'The Come and Take It Cannon Room', single over double bunk bed.
Note: 'Captain Brown's Flag Room' is only available to groups of 10 or more.
6. Is
there a place for our boat?
Yes, we have private boat slip for your boat
in the back yard.
7. We don't have a boat can we rent one?
Yes, there are many boat rental companies on the lake. Here are
